It is sunny in Cobourg and the radar looks good so the Time Trial is a go unless there is a sudden change in the weather
This Sunday, August 5th, the CCC will be hosting the Annual Tom Jehlicka Memorial Criterium. It’s a very well run event with race categories for everyone from Beginners to experts with a separate women’s class as well.
Last year we had a huge CCC showing at the race and we’d like a repeat this year, so come try it out, it’s challenging and loads of fun.
All info regarding the race can be found at the link below or contact Greg at firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
Lets try this again, shall we.
This Thursday, August 2nd, we will be hosting a 60km tempo ride leaving from the Mill parking lot on Ontario St. at 6:30pm. The aim is to keep a 30km/h pace but it’s a pretty hilly route so we’ll have to see how everyone’s feeling Thursday night.
If you’re on the fence about coming out and maintaining that pace, there’s no harm in sitting in back and letting the more experienced riders take the front until you feel confident enough to take a turn whether it’s this time, next time or whatever. No pressure! Anyhow, it’s going to be a fun, quick rip up to rice lake and back so come out for a bit of a challenge and reward yourself with a well deserved pint at the pub afterwards, I know I will. 🙂 See you out there.
Here’s the route
