Cycle Transitions – Mechanics wanted

This is a call out to CCC members to see if anyone is interested in becoming a bicycle mechanic for Cycle Transitions.(CT)

Now that CT has it new premises they are scheduling to be open Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6.30 to 9.00 pm and Saturdays 9.00 am to noon.

For those who have forgotten and those who didn’t know CT is a self-help do it yourself Bike shop geared to help people keep their bikes on the road and encourage cycling for the average commute.  We are involved in cycle ride training (CanBike) courses.  Running safe cycling at schools. Some of our members are also involved in the Bicycle action committee who are working hard to have safe cycling paths through and around Cobourg and the county.  We are recognized by the Cobourg Town Council who are giving us their full support, hence the use of their old works yard building for our new premises.

I would encourage all club members to come visit the shop at 390 King Street West, during our opening hours, and see what we have to offer.  Also we would like to have members as volunteers.
