Even with the wind in their faces, CCC members set some amazing times this past Tuesday night at our weekly ITT. The coming week is looking quite calm so I can’t wait to see what everyone can do! I have a good feeling this season is going to bring many fast times and personal bests. Thanks to the time keepers and helpers, you do an amazing job week after week.
Wednesday was a trail maintenance day out in Northumberland Forest organized by our mountain bike rep, Pete Hennessy. A few key members got a ton of work done out there to clear the trails of winter debris so that they’re ready to go for all of us to enjoy. Thanks for the hard work!
Thursday was the first Social Spin of the year which took a group of smiling members on a leisurely ride through town, down to the pier and all around and even though the bugs were INSANE the feedback was great! Thanks to Kirsty Brown for leading and making everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
On Saturday, Dennis Poort lead a crew of 10 out to Colborne, into the hills and then back to Cobourg on an 80km route. A few good climbs, great scenery, and a crew of happy cyclist. What a beautiful day for a ride! Thanks Dennis.
Lastly, thanks to all the members for coming out, without your support it wouldn’t happen!
